Synchronicity Is Spooky

Owl

I believe in signs. I do not believe in coincidence.

Today blew me away.

Today I committed to a publisher. After much trepidation and consideration, I submitted my manuscript and accepted the commitment, so it was a monumental step in moving forward. After taking the plunge and completing the task, I looked at today’s calendar, ready to plan the week ahead.

Today is the first day of the Chinese New Year. As I read about the Year of the Fire Monkey, it said, “February 8th is a significant day. Not only is it the New Moon in the air sign of Aquarius, but it is the day we enter the 9th sign of the Chinese Zodiac, the year of the Fire Monkey, and a 9 Universal Year. One thing is for sure, these synchronicities are no coincidence.”

2016

Today also marks a huge beginning for my daughter as she starts the first day of a new job and a new career. Then my husband received an unexpected recognition of the approaching end of his lifelong career and the beginning of a new phase in his life.

Adventure

Wait for it…

The real kicker was my discovery that this week is Abraham Lincoln’s birthday. This can’t be a coincidence. Abraham Lincoln is the reason I wrote Presidential Souls! I’ve been so busy preparing for this day, that I had no idea it was almost President’s Day and Abraham Lincoln’s birthday. This sign makes my head spin!

Presidents-Day

So what does it all mean? I take it as a sign that I’ve made a good decision and the presidents are in agreement with my choice for a publisher.

It truly is an auspicious day!
